Inter Poker Rake Table

"Play the player and not the cards" can only be said because unlike an online casino, an online poker room never bets against the players. Instead the poker room charges the players a fee to use the poker server. InterPoker and InterCasino earn money in different ways. InterCasino by having a mathematical edge on the games they provide and Inter Poker takes money out of the pots and a fee to play tournaments.

In the ring games the rake is taken according to the tables below. Inter Poker is one of few poker rooms that do not have different rake tables for fixed limit games in contrast to no limit & pot limit games. In fact they have a very simple rake structure, the rake is calculated based on 5% of the pot to a maximum of 3 Dollars / Pounds / Euros rounded down to the nearest ¼ unit. 5% of $5 is $0.25, thus one quarter is taken when the pot reaches five USD. Likewise with the other currencies. Rounded down means that the next installment is not taken until the pot reaches $10 (or any integer of 5). A pot of €9.50 is still raked €0.25.

In conclusion the table below mostly shows the different ceilings set for the rake in different situations. Rake is collected when the pot size reaches 5, 10, 15 and so on regardless. InterPoker also has a “no drop – no flop” policy. Rake is not collected unless the hand reaches the flop in Hold’em and Omaha or fourth street in Stud.

The only deviation from Inter Poker’s simple rake policy is the heads up (1-on-1) tables. Here modifications are made to keep the rake lower when it is only shared by two players at all times.
