Csimmsux Wins FTOPS Pot-Limit Omaha Rebuy Event

The $2,500 buy-in two-day no-limit hold'em event started yesterday, and while that may have been the big news, the pot-limit Omaha (with rebuys) event still managed to pack quite a punch. The $100 buy-in tournament attracted 873 entrants who rebought a whopping 1,799 times and added on 420 times, ultimately building a prize pool of $309,200, well more than the $200,000 guaranteed by Full Tilt.

A ton of notable Internet pros made it into the top 20 in the event, including Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron (12th, $2,937) [read his interview with Card Player, also posted today, by clicking here], Jeff "YellowSub86" Williams (14th, $2,164), and TheFatFISH (aka, Andy McLEOD; 18th, 1,546).

The final table of the event had its fair share of notable pros, as well. Both James "Mig_com" Mackey and Jonathan "HoosierAlum" Depa were among the final nine players. HoosierAlum eventually busted in sixth place, earning $13,914 while Mig_com made it to fourhanded play before himself busting out. Mig_com earned $26,282 for fourth place. The final heads-up match was between UghhhTILT and csimmsux. Csimmsux eventually bested UghhhTILT in heads-up play to secure the $72,662 top prize and the exclusive gold FTOPS jersey avatar.
