Online Poker Giant Bodog.com Celebrity Party at Tao Huge Success
(PRWEB) August 10, 2006 -- The fourth annual
Bodog Party in Las Vegas was a fantastic success as stars, poker pros and international gambling professionals got their groove on at Tao at the Venetian Tuesday night.
Guests included Shannon Elizabeth ("American Pie"), Kelly Hu ("X2"), Erik Palladino ("ER"), Billy Burke ("Ladder 49"), Roger Cross ("24"),
Jon Kelley ("Extra!"),
Bodog Music artist Bishop Brigante plus poker stars
Josh Arieh,
Matt Savage,
Gavin Smith, Umberto Brenes, Clonie Gowan, Andy Bloch,
David Plastik,
Kenna James and
Brad Kondracki, who all partied long and hard to the sounds of noted DJ Steve “Kid Millionaire” Aoki. Of course, there were dozens of sexy
Bodog Girls on hand as well.
After passing through a packed press line, guests took an elevator up to Tao’s Buddha Bar and were immediately handed a glass of champagne. Once in the party, guests were treated to a variety of visual delights -- girls body painting, a birdcage girl and more. In the main room, an I-Ching master told fortunes, top billiards pro Jeanette “The Black Widow” Lee took on all challengers who dared test their skills, and a games room featured Chinese Checkers, Mahjong and more.
The main stage featured go-go girls, Chinese acrobats, swordsmen, ninjas and karate demonstrations along with a midnight performance from Carmen Electra’s Bombshell Babes.
A side room featured bed-and-cushion seating as well as hookahs for smoking Eastern-flavored tobaccos and a delectable Asian buffet.
Though
Bodog.com Founder and CEO Calvin Ayre was unable to attend due to filming a documentary in Asia, he said, “I am already hearing raves about the party.” He added: “This was a typically great
Bodog Party, not a stop was left to pull out and girls -- so many girls!”
