Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., is “old fashion ‘nanny-state’ prohibition.”
Bolcerek, one of the principal leaders of the fight to keep online poker legal, further claimed that if Goodlatte's bill became law it would drain valuable resources from national security and infringe on American’s civil liberties and that the US government is missing a significant financial opportunity by not regulating and taxing online poker.
"We fully support a 'regulate and tax' strategy," said Bolcerek in his interview with Wicked Chops Poker. "This would allow US companies to compete for business in the online poker industry, keeping that revenue on-shore and creating jobs for Americans. Americans would be happier to play on US online tables that are regulated by the Federal government, and have access to US courts."

While polls indicate that the public overwhelmingly supports legal online poker, legislation continues to move forward to ban it.
